I just installed a top case for an mp3. It has a pad on the case but looks like it's missing a maybe a lower pad or something on the back end of the seat. All that came with the kit is a plastic panel that must be used in place of the original padded one. Looks kind of funny. Is this right? Anyone have any pics of there mp3 with a top case?

Pretty much yes, I padded mine on my own as i didn't like the way the new backrest looked either. I posted pics of my backrest after I padded it on that same post.
