Modern Vespa

It is a Vintage Red GTS if I am not mistaken. A pretty rare color.

That's right. They discontinued the vintage red, but my local shop still had one in stock when I was finally ready to buy it. I picked it up last summer about this time, but I was drooling over it for at least 10 months while I was saving my pennies.

Well storms going through austin today prevented me from getting the tag. I'll try again tomorrow.

I've got one, but I'm not claiming the tag because I want to see what other cool museums are out there.

Here was the tag I got this morning. I don't mind if everyone wants to see if another cool museum comes in.

None of that here, construction is in the crapper...

We still have a few cranes flying in downtown Madison. I don't know if you can really call a building under 10 stories a high rise, but it seems to be the best I can get without a drive to Milwaukee.

Good enough for me! The building I posted is now the tallest in Austin. It still has about 120 feet to go.

I realize this just looks like a random tower, but that's because I couldn't get a good shot at it. Perhaps this shot of my scooter at a slightly different angle will help:



This place is Fire Station 14 and M.C. "Scotty" Walls Training Center. They use that tower to practice putting out fires in towers, I think.

I'm waiting for that red light. I just decided to pull over to the right just in case...so I didn't hold up traffic getting my iphone out of my pocket & taking my glove off so I can hit the slider to access the camera. Turns out I had enough time to snap the pix, put my iphone in pocket, re-glove and jam to the other side for my left turn. If you cool with this shot I'll post the next tag tomorrow.

Is daytime parking garage OK? This is the fifth level of the hospital parking garage.

Why not? It looks nice and deserted

As I am chained to a cage this week, I am going to use a shot from another tag for this one.

Lets call the target an "oversize food or drink item". In my case it's the coke cup on the side of the Coke distribution hub here in Sacramento. I know SIC already has this shot so lets see if we can't get something different. This thing is like 30 feet tall.
