Staying with the HUGE theme

I have a photo, but something is wrong, I cannot resize it. I may have to go try again tomorrow...

Oh man! I just got back from getting shots and saw your post. I will include mine, and let you guys decide. I also have a new tag that continues the giant theme that's ready to upload. Let me know what you guys decide.

Also, I hope these are giant enough. They are from the same store. I thought I would post both.

Hey Nickie, here's how I send all of my photos... go to the top of a page of this topic. There is a little envelope. Click on that. It will give you an email token. "copy" and "paste" that email address into an email with that photo attached, will automatically resize the photo and post to this topic. Magic!

I have also been using http://www.shrinkpictures.com/. They have an avatar feature that seems to be the only way I can get an avatar that's small enough in bytes to work on MV.

Thanks for the tip! Someone told me about the email thing, and that's how I do all of my photos now, mostly from my phone (and they still come out HUGE)....

It just turned out to be rain. It was cold, like in the high 30s. The sun came out around noon, and it's now in the 60s. Woohoo!

New Tag: Giant/Oversized Food
I was thinking of just doing giant/oversized dessert, pastry, or baked good, but I think that might be a little too hard.

I think chicken counts as food; plus, there's a giant burger on the sign. Tag counts. It's amazing how hard it is to find giant food. That cupcake is probably the only one I know of, unless there's a taco or hot dog somewhere in town that I am not thinking of.

Independent or Custom Motorcycle Shop

It turns out that Austin is not a mecca for custom motorcycles. I did find this place though. They make some custom bikes, as well as sell Harley parts. It doesn't really look like much though.

It cannot be a real motorcycle; that would be too easy. It has to be an image of a motorcycle (mural, photo, sculpture, billboard, etc.).

Roadside Stand

Thanks. Tomorrow is my last day of freedom. I have been off of work this week, and my son is at Grandma's. He returns home tomorrow night. I usually don't get as much chance to ride, but I will do my best once things are back to normal.

Good tag BTW. I really like that statue. I think I know of a good road side stand.

You may recognize the big cupcake from the huge food tag. It's the same company. They have one storefront, and the rest are restored Airstreams along the road sides. I even bought some cupcakes

soniam, thanks for updating the list! I know I am not the scooter-tag-police... but I personally don't have a big issue with the occasional repeat if it's there's a bit of a time seperation and isn't the same photo.

I mean, I wasn't even playing tag a year ago (or even 3 months ago)... so finding the bridge (didn't realize it was a duplicate), was kind of cool (I thought it was a cool shot)... I've been out riding and have found some really cool things to take pictures of and realized that they are duplicates from long ago....

I will still try to find new things to take pictures of, of course! I'm just saying.....

Any thoughts from other taggers out there?

I helped build the list earlier in this post not in an attempt to limit repeats, but simply let people see what tags have been captured. I'm not at all opposed to repeat tags; it allows me to see the photographic creativity of people playing tag, it's often interesting and rarely the same shot even if it is the same topic such as "your scooter with a bridge". It seems to slow the game down when we get too bogged down in repeat tags so I'm with you on not worrying too much about repeats as generally the tags come around to some new angle in the next tag or two. I'd like to see the game continue, repeat or not.

I don't care about repeats much either, especially if they are pretty far apart in time. I just thought others, including myself, might like to see what has been done.

I don't care about repeat either. At least the images are different stuff. Really thought if the repeat rule was enforced, then this thread will slow down very much and I don't want this to happen. Because of where I live, I can not a separate thread of Oahu tag. It would just fail due to the the very low numbers of vespas here.

Tagging is fun. Lets keep it that way.

Great! Well, I for one, am loving playing tag! Other than my 2 mile commute, it is what gets me out RIDING on my day off. The more games I can participate in, the more I ride! It even gets my butt out of bed early on Sunday mornings.
As long as nobody has any objections, lets Play On!

Too bad I'm not in Dallas. My brother-in-law has a business wrapping vehicles, but he lives north of Dallas. I am sure I, or someone else, can find something around.

I'm back on the islands. Had a blast. Threw up on a restaurant door after going to a bar. I guess I drank too much

I'm just happy I ate all the King Taco, The Hat, Pepe's, In and Out, etc. All the grub food not available here.

your scoot with a very large serpent/snake/dragon. it could be a statue, balloon, mural, etc... but it should be larger than a real snake.

if you do a member search on pud... you should get Ms. pudNrider. she's the one that made the patches based on the design competition we had last year. I'm sure she still has a supply available.

I so want to get this. I know of something that would be perfect, but it's on the complete opposite side of town. Plus, it's been cold here Maybe if the weather is nice on Tuesday and no one has gotten it yet, I will go up there. I have an appointment near there anyway, but I usually use the cage.

As long as we try to keep some space between the repeats, I think they are ok. Wouldn't want to discourage new comers by jumpin on them everytime we see a repeat. It's bound to happen with all the different tag themes we have. Rough times lately so no camera or internet at home so that is why I haven't been on here. I MISS PLAYIN......
