I had to race home ahead of a thunderstorm today. I'll do it tomorrow so long as the weather isn't extra miserable.

Ok...graveyard....

This is Grandview cemetery....behind in both pics is the plot of the unknown....

you see here in Johnstown we have had 3 major floods...1889,1936 and the most recent was in 1977..

the first one happened when an earthen dam broke and sent the water cascading down the valley causing mass destruction in its wake...

the water picked up everything in its path...and actually deposited it in a big pile of mess against the old stone bridge here in town(folks ~may~ remember it from an earlier tag I had posted) when the water hit there it dammed up and the trees/houses/cars everything was in a big pile.then it started to burn for something like 3 days or so....well the graves are all the unknown peopke that had perished in the 1889 flood....the next cpl pics are a few more from the other side...

all that doom and gloom......

Olympia has no Jesus! That's what I get for living on the Godless West Coast. Time to scout around in Lacey.

California should have lots of people named Jesus pronounced Hay-suse. just a thought for the Godless west coast. lol

Your scooter at an Irish Pub. The Pub was full at 9:00 AM this morning

Didn't ANYONE go to a pub for Saint Patrick"s Day

I go to the pub every day - so what's so different today? Plus the Irish played like frozen zombies at Twickers. Bust them 30-9.

I might acknowledge St David's day when folk start acknowledging St George's day.

Might mind.

I didn't go to an Irish pub yesterday. My pals and I have a tradition of having Mexican food on St. Patrick's Day. We go to a pub on Cinco de Mayo.

Got one! The roof slides back on this observatory and they have about 4-5 telescopes. I've never been, but it sounds cool.

Next Tag: Your scooter and a falling down barn (or a silo, or a cow-must be alive). Bonus points if the owner of said barn sits in the end of her driveway and watches you take the picture, then drives towards you with her vehicle in the wrong lane and asks you no less than 5 questions about what you're doing and why you're doing it. Even more bonus points if you capture her in the photo.

I've been lurking for a few months since I got my scooter for Christmas, but I couldn't resist this tag - right my alley on a beautiful Northern California Sunny day. Although the picture is blurry, it really is a falling down barn back there - not as large as the Minnesota barn, however!
