New tag: A cell phone aerial disguised as something else occurring in
nature...

In my picture it is a tree. But giraffes will do too...

Now I know why my phone never worked in Brady... It all comes together now...

Ok, then how about a interesting cell phone aerial? Something attached to a billboard or similar... Or hold a twig up in front of the camera while taking a picture of a aerial to make it look like a tree.

And remember, the story does not have to be true, but it has to be good!

We all have wires and clip leads on our phones. To make a call, we just climb a nearby pole and hook up! Nothing to it

I am told this flagpole is also a cell phone tower (see that cylindrical addition) of some sort. It's located on a convent, high on a hill (great view!)

It's not something naturally occurring in nature, but in light of the looser definition now offered, I figured it might qualify. There actually is a cell phone tower disguised as a large tree around here, but it's a bit of a ride and, located on a private, remote sportsman club, I didn't think I'd be able to get close enough to take a pic after the long ride.

If this is good to go, let me know, and another tag I'll show.

I'm over halfway through Shelby Foot's Civil War Narrative trilogy so I though I'd tag something related to those times.

This tag would be the final resting place of a Civil War veteran, may they rest in peace, Blue or Grey.

I couldn't get the scooter much closer for the picture, hence the wide shot. A lot of the stones with flags are Civil War veterans. Many were so badly weathered they could not be deciphered, except for the one in the detail pic, which I was able to verify online.

Too bad I've already had a drink. Maybe I'll push the scooter across the street to the graveyard. We've got some Union men over there. Perhaps tomorrow if no one else steps up.

Funny you mentioned "across the street." This very little cemetery is nestled in a remote corner barely three blocks from my house. I just never paid much attention until recently. There's a lot of history around if you take the time to look, I suppose. It's also one of the perks of living in a older neighborhood.

I have a huge complex of cemeteries across from my house. American Legion, Catholic, Jewish, Pet etc. etc.

I'll post a challenge after I go out for a ride again this afternoon.
