The NEW TAG is: your scooter in front of a real (but non-running non-operational) CAR (or TRUCK) used to advertise a BUSINESS.

This was taken in front of "The Pump House", in Talent, Oregon - a combination Beer & Burger joint (temporarily closed due to the coronavirus) - where an ancient Italian car, now painted with the 'Pump House' logo, sits in front of the restaurant to advertise its services.

My brother send me this pic of a Piaggio Fly with a Thermoscud outside of a Farm & Fleet in the Madison, Wisconsin, area.

He thought I'd be interested in the Thermoscud. I told him I'd just installed mine for its 5th season this past weekend.

Hope to revive this long dormant thread with the next new Tag, which I'll try to come up with in the near future.

(Incidentally, that is a cemetery in the background - which was our previous tag - but just happened to be on Main St. here in Ashland, Oregon!)

NEW TAG: your Scooter in front of a Totem Pole - or, as an alternate, a Native American or Indigenous sculpture.

Just a note: the last Indian tribe left Ohio in 1848. We don't have many indian/native American sculptures left. I'll see what I can do…

(Sorry, we don't have native Americans in Ohio anymore, and the ones we did never carved totem poles. We have many Indian burial mounds, however.)

It is the beginning of fall, my favorite time of year, and Fall means Football! To claim this tag show your scooter in front of a football stadium. Preferably you should be able to see the name of the stadium, but that might not be how they do it in your part of the country.

Tag - in front of a Football Stadium:
Here is my Vespa, parked in front of the Walter A. Phillips Field - "Home of the Ashland Grizzlies" - where the Ashland High School (that's Ashland, Oregon, by the way) plays its home games. Unfortunately due to the field being temporarily closed, I couldn't get my Vespa any closer - but you can still make out "Home of the Ashland Grizzlies" above the scoreboard - as well as 2 grizzly bear paws!

NEW TAG: your scooter in front of a Mural, visible in a public place.

(This particular mural is in Ashland, Oregon - on 'Calle Guanajuato'; the mural commemorates Ashland's sister city of Guanajuato, in Mexico.)

New tag, any military establishment; Army, Navy, AF, Marines, Cost Guard, National Guard, etc.

- Bonus if it is associated with a museum.
- Bonus if it is associated with engineering of any kind.

Wright-Patterson AFB is the home of research and development for the Air Force, and is also the home of the National Museum of the Air Force. Very cool if you ever come to Dayton.

Hey folks, tag this! The weekend passed away and I can't play

TAG!...my scooter in front of the local (Ashland, Oregon) Oregon Army National Guard Headquarters!

As far as famous people from Dayton, Ohio...the two who spring to mind are the Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur! There's also Roger Clemens, for baseball fans.

The Wright-Patterson AFB was named for the Wright brothers, and you can see their flyer in the mural.

NEW TAG: your Scooter next to a very large (at least as tall as a house or a small building) statue or sculpture of a GIGANTIC ANIMAL!

In this case, my GTV is parked in front of the gargantuan big black bird, in Medford Oregon, which stands in front of the eponymous store, "Black Bird".

Miguel, I'm afraid that this tag will sit for a while.

Does it count if it's the SAME one? Guess I should have stopped at "Trees of Mystery" last month.

As long as your scooter is in front of a VERY LARGE GIGANTIC ANIMAL, it should count.
I'm assuming btw that you are referring to Paul Bunyan's GIGANTIC BLUE OX, "Babe" - that would definitely count - provided that the photo showed your scooter AND the giant animal. (And, hopefully, not Paul Bunyan - since the goal is to have your scooter next to a Giant animal - but not next to a group of large beings)

Miguel, I think it is time to soften your tag. Where would you go to tag this if the Black Bird was not near you home? I've done a few searches and there is nothing near me that would work.

- Big statues: a few
- Animal statues: sure
- Big animal statues: nope for a couple hours in any direction

I think for this nation wide game:
1) it should be a thread that you can open and go on a ride and tag. Therefore, it should be a tag that is doable within 30 miles of any house in America.

2) You should not tag something without having the new tag ready. That way, there is always a tag for anyone to do.

Tag: Famous for Dayton, Ohio; The University of Dayton Arena. This is where the first 4 takes place every year for the NCAA men's basketball tournament. So if you watch March Madness you have seen the inside of this building.

Secondarily, a picture of a White House.

New Tag: A piece of art of a copyrighted work that probably didn't pay the copyright fee.
