NOT A SCOOTER TAG ENTRY!

But I came across this old stone church on a scooter ride in Western Pa a year or two ago. It's a landmark, but I can't find out much info on it. Built around the mid 1800's I think. My scooter is not in the pic (it's off to the side in a small gravel parking lot) so it doesn't count.

I thought it would still be an interesting addition to the thread.

Interesting Temple here in Sac.

So here I am, tearing up the 4-lane at near top speed alongside the cargo area of the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport on my Black Stealth Vespa, jumping off on the side of the road, taking pictures of an airport, jumping back on the scooter and quickly turning off at the next exit and riding off into the woodland roads.
I'm expecting a visit from Homeland Security any time now.

PS: I'm hoping one of those planes has the GPS I ordered from Amazon for my scooter on it. 8)

OK, here it is. A brewery building. Past or present. This one is past...way past.

This was the Duquesne Brewery #2 in Stowe Township. Most locals are familiar with the large brewery not far away in Pittsburgh's South Side, but yes, there were others. I found an image of a label to prove it, too. This particular brewery closed in 1950. As a result, the average potential brewing capacity of the world went down by a small fraction of a percent.
Tragic.

How about past and present?



Formerly the brewery for Seattle's Rainier Beer, currently the brewery for Tully's Coffee (who changed the "R" on the top to a "T" when they bought it).

Ha ha thanks SIC. Yeah, gotta love the LA lawn furniture. My favorites are when toilets are just sitting on the curb on grass.
And random....I like the red skull on your handle bars.

haha when I was remodeling my house in Cali I had the toilets sitting out on the lawn so I could clean them before reinstalling. You should have seen the neighbor's reactions!

Would've been hilarious if you would have sat down on the toilet and started reading a newspaper!

Okay...I know I'm stating the obvious, but SIC, you really are the master at scooter tag. I saw the mad chicken photo and thought it would be tough, but in less than five minutes time you have posted a photo of a mad chicken. YOU RULE SCOOTER TAG!!!

I expected some rooster jokes first... but slick, SIC! I was hoping for a painting, but hey - you had a chicken in your back pocket for just the right time. Props!

Where are we going next?

Well, the metal chicken was painted at least some time ago from the looks of it, and it doesn't exactly look happy, which means it's closer to angry than not, so It's cool by me. 8)

Sorry, fresh out of rooster jokes...at least those that actually use the word rooster.
