My plan for a 1997 Vespa ET2.

Well, here goes my story.
Basically a woman that me and my friend knows wants to sell her 1997 vespa ET2 for £50. So we took that as a major bargain, has log books, etc, no tax or mot however. So I decided to buy it now.
Well, I was thinking, either to do it up then keep it for a month of two, or sell it straight away.
I am going to sand it down to bare metal etc, primer, then with a dark blue stripe down the middle, black background with a glossy matt finish.
Then I was thinking to stick a £85 performance exhaust, £70 70's kit, £15 blue anodised boost chamber, NRG speedometer - if they fit, £58 EVOLUTION 2 POLINI 2G 3G ADJUSTABLE RACE/SPEED CLUTCH / D 107, and a few more bits and bobs.

Could you tell me your views and opinions, and if you had the money how much you'd personally buy it for? Min and max price.- Thanks.

ET2s are great fun... be careful not to butcher it, and why not keep it and ride? For 50 pounds I'd buy another to keep!

Are you kidding me?

Why wreck the thing? Keep it stock and ride around on it - 50 pounds! I'd take one and keep it stock any day.
