That's an elegant solution! Why didn't Piaggio think of that?

When we were in Ireland in May and the hotel person mentioned that "breakfast is available every day until half ten", I had to think about it for a moment. I had forgotten about that one. I first heard it when we were traveling in England in '04.

Then there are the dates, where 06-11-2006 means sixth of November, not June 6.

We Americans have it so rough, trying to adapt.

I actually prefer dates in the YYYY-MM-DD format, easier for sorting in a computer folder structure also.

Also that clock looks very nice tucked in with the wind screen.

Another story from Ireland, this time from a B&B:

Proprietor to (female) guests: "And what time would you like me to knock you up in the marnin'?"

doh,
so I'm riding home tonight from working late, I have to get there to let the sitter go at seven.
I look down, 645... sh*t I'm later than I thought.
I pull into the 7-11 for evening beverages and when I turn the ignition back on and look down to wait for the check engine light to go off I realise it's 18:15....
645 is the milage dumbass...
:?
Got a nice long ride on the highway to really test the homemade 'laminar lip'.
Decided it sucks the big one, buffeting like I'm taking hits from Ali, looks like a chop down on the Faco after all.
