I'm in the midst of a gravity storm...
I replaced my spark plug before on my ET4 with absolutely no problem...but today, every time I try to raise the scooter to lower the engine, the front wheel comes up and the back wheel stays firmly on the ground. The scooter is unloaded, top case off, and not much gas in the tank. Weird.
Obviously, I have put the jack further back, but I'm not sure where the best place would be to avoid damage.
Anyone know?

Thanks, but I was looking for the best point to place a jack to lift the rear wheel.
As it turned out, it was a gravity storm: I finally went bat-shit crazy, put a board on top of the jack, cinched the handlebars down to an aluminum ramp, butted the front wheel against a 2x4 held from moving forward with tent stakes, and had my daughter hold the front handlebars in case something went horribly awry. Then the ass end of the scooter came off the ground I'm here to tell you, and I was able to finish the job.
I did a belt and roller job last year that took less time.
I put her back together, rode around for a few miles, and when I shut 'er down, the immobilizer light started blinking merrily away to tell me everything is now peachy keen fine dandy. That little light hasn't worked in the best part of a year.
It must like the new iridium plug.
