I received my new SeatSkinz seat cover today from www.coveralls.biz. I think it is going to work fine, but getting it was interesting.

When I first looked at them online I didn't see anything about a storage bag, so I emailed them to inquire. It turns out they come with a black rip stop nylon stuff bag. So, I decided to go ahead and order one online. When I went to check out there was a blank for a discount coupon number, so I emailed them again asking about the discount.

I didn't hear back for a couple days this time, but I waited patiently. Then I got a reply stating that they weren't offering any discounts at this time, but he would give me 10% off my purchase saying, "I will make you a little deal since I am late in answering you." I would have to call in the order since there was no way to do this online. I decided that it would be worth the $3 or so to just go ahead and order online for convenience sake. I emailed him again and thanked him for the offer, told him I had already ordered online, and mentioned that I might take him up on the 10% on a jacket after I received the cover and checked it out.

Well, he emailed and phoned me and said he would give me a jacket FREE! They are temporarily discontinuing the jackets because they are not as good quality as they would like and they don't want to sell junk.

So, I received the jacket (Which I think will be fine. He said they delaminate in heavy wind buffeting, but I usually ride at pretty low speeds in town.) and the size CM SeatSkinz seat cover. But... The cover DIDN'T FIT!

Well, here I go emailing again. He replied quickly that he would send out the next larger size with a stamped, self-addressed envelope for me to return the CM in.

Anyway, the CL came today and fits great on my LX150. It looks like it will do the job very well of protecting my seat from feral cats, bird droppings, rain, etc. It will tuck away neatly in it's storage bag and go into the pet carrier when I'm not using it. The jacket is made of the same material and also comes with a bag. It will compress down quite small, too for storage in the pet carrier or topcase.

Oh, he said he would have to charge me an extra $5 for the larger size, but it hasn't shown up on my credit card yet.
