I have a fully restored 1979 p200e. I restored it myself over the winter. All wiring is new, stator is new. Had it in to Motoretta (downtown Toronto) for final tune-up and cable adjustment. Before I brought it in, all electrical was working but when I got it back home, no lights, no signal lights, no tail lights. Horn works. Runs fine. I thought maybe the trailer ride was rough and it bounced a few wires loose... but I looked under the headset and cant see anything obvious.

Any suggestions as to why I might be having this problem? Can anyone help me sort this out? This is the european 12v model with no battery by the way. As an FYI, the only thing I had difficulty replacing was the indicator bulbs in the headset, so I replaced them with small automotive 12 v lights. They had worked, but would just flicker on and off. They do not appear to be burned out at this point... but no electrical but the horn and ignition switch appear to work... Thanks guys.

Any wires loose from your regulator/rectifier? Not sure how the wiring works on the sans-battery models, but a dead pole on the regulator (or a disconnected wire) can certainly put an end to turn signal function among others. I had to replace my regulator because the pole outputting power to the signal flasher unit was dead.

If you haven't seen these sites, they have wiring diagrams to help with this sort of thing:
