Good people,

There are some interesting stats on who is online and how many posts they have sent in etc... Are there any figures on how many of what type of scooters we all have.

Is there a nice bar graph or a cupcake chart somewhere.

I see that some people have multiple scooters - these people would have a valuable opinion when making comparisons.

I wonder what percent of the people in this place *heart* scooters?

Also, kittens.

Nope. We don't have that statistic. People can identify what scooter they have in their profile, but making sense of textual descriptions is next to impossible, statistically speaking.

You could always steer a thread in that direction, like the "register your Limited PX thread" but the problem would come up where people change their scoots... they'd have to re-post the tally/whatever with their changes Razz emoticon
Doesn't sound fun to me!

For what it is worth, if you title your thread well enough, the folks who own the models you are interested in will likely check it out and you'll get their input anyway... without having to look them up instead.

A pie chart?

I looked at the post and thought that must be a typo - what was I thinking when I typed "pie". I was thinking of a bar graph or a pie chart - but how on earth did it end up as "pie".

I Googled the word and found that it appears on this forum three times and it is also the name for a list of rules in World of Warcraft. They use a pie chart to agree on the strength of their weapons.

I'll think I'll just pop out for a quick ride on my Vespa now....

Jess's little joke. Everytime someone enters that word "p i e", it comes out pie. Also, if you type "g u n", it comes out gun. And, if you type "s h o t g u n" it comes out shotgun.

It did it again!

I typed "p-i-e" (without quotes and without dashes) and the word pie come out instead.

Thanks Jess - you have a unique sense of humour. I like that.

btw Jess, could you do something similar with swear words? - my kids read this.

Wouldn't Piaggio keep stats on how many scoots sold in a given region and what kind? Might have to use a crowbar to pry it out...

There is also of course a correlation to regional area and intended use. For example, people living in cities may have smaller cc bikes, people that commute from ex-urbs to city or that plain old live in the middle of nowhere like me would go for 250cc and people that are trying to cross Kansas on I-70 without losing their sanity will opt for the Burgmans, Silverwings, BV500s.

Like to see one of those maps with different colored pins stuck in it...Couldn't something like that be done on MV?

There was one of those up on MV for like ..YEARS ... but it had a million pins in it and doesn't really net you anything, so i think it was taken down. I personally dislike those things.
