I was going to ask actually how many of you here are on facebook and should we start a group there too?

i dont know how to do anything other than events in FB. but i'll sign up for almost anything anyone sends me.

I'm on Facebook (although admittedly I don't do much with it).

If someone starts a MV account/group/whatever I'll join.

The New York Scooter Club is on Facebook too if anyone wants to use it as a reference point for setting something similar up.

ah ha! i've bee trying to figure out how to do events in FB all day, tell me how tell me how

In the wonderful world of New Facebook, the events button has moved down to the menu at the bottom of your screen, next to apps etc.

Click on events, and you go through to a screen that shows you all of those things you said you would attend but didn't.

At the top right hand side of that screen there is a button called 'create event.'

After that it is so intuitive that even I can do it.

Okay, here you go. I've created a fan page for MVers who use Facebook. You can post photos, videos, and events. If you click "become a fan" it'll put a link on your profile.

Yeah, when you "become a fan", you're part of the group and can post pics and events and whatever else is on there.

I chose to do it as a fan page rather than a group since there's already a "Modern Vespa Owners" group unrelated to the forums.
