Darn it! I have my brother in law's family coming in from Ventura. We are heading down to Colorado Blvd for the Rose Parade. Doubt I can make it to Silverlake by 11.

wow. I had this idea but got too busy to put it together. thanks for taking it on. Can I suggest we scoot the hills as well? Up Moreno around Micheoterena and through armstrong. I think the locals will get a thrill.

I'm really in no shape to ride anyway.

Once I caught up with the group, we pulled over and waited for you, just a block away. When you didn't appear, I went back to check on you. Sorry we missed you, but good to finally meet you, however briefly.

We went up the hill and around the reservoir, then Jackie, Adam and I headed downtown to Pete's. Great day to be out riding.

BTW, I spotted the guy on the black LX who left before the ride as he was leaving Griffith Park with someone on a silver ET (which I also think I recognized). It's possible he just saw all of us and pulled over to chat and wasn't actually there because he knew about the ride, ha. Or maybe he has severe ADD. Whichever.

Dude! Whathappenedtoyou? LOL. One minute you were there and the next gone. We sent a search party out for you... no find. Glad to see you made it back to your computer okay. Thanks for getting the ride together - it was nice to meet you too.

Hey, Dan. We so didn't mean to ditch you. Multiple hangovers don't make for the most organized rides, I guess.

I'm the dude on the black - actually it's a dark shade of midnight f'n blue - lx. I read about the ride last night, and wanted to meet a buddy of mine at the tropical today for a ride with ya'll. Apparently he was in no position to do anything at 11am this morning. So I had to drag his butt out of bed and make soyrizo breakfast burritos with him just to get his ass out the house.

We did end up going on a nice romantic cruise - started in SL hills looking for you dudes before continuing on for a ride through Griffith Park - both the backside by golf course, zoo etc and then up to the observatory - where we got bitched out by some uppity park security dbags for bypassing traffic jam by going up the "authorized vehicles only" road to get to top of the hill. I mean aren't vespas considered authorized vehicles at all fricken times? C'mon!.

Anyway was a nice ride. Bummed I couldn't make the group ride but I blame my wrecked friend for missing it and for ruining x-mas. However he is a very handsome fellow (see pics - also note it is a silver LX not ET phone home) so I may be able to someday forgive his punkass.

let's do a EP/SL ride again soon so I can participate next time. I'll bring my P so we can have some old mixed with the new. If any of ya'll took any pics from ride please post.

Yo. See the post about the Pasadena Doo Dah parade ride the 18th?

I tried to do video of the ride but the Flip video camera (which, admittedly, I got for free) is a piece of junk and kept shutting itself off after a minute or so. Useless!

Ditto on the SL/EP ride sometimes again soon. Seems as though there are a lot of "us" in that area!

I would also like to say that the above post almost made being home on a Saturday night worth it, funny as all hell ;( and yes Vespa's are authorized vehicles at all times - no arguments there.

I only got one photo from my phone since my dumb ass forgot to take my camera's memory card out of the home media center. oops.
