I'm wondering if there is a difference in quality, manufacturer, etc between these two taillights? Or is it just two different prices for the same light?

Motorsport Scooters $55.62

Scooterworks $35.00

If you mont the euro one, you'll prob have to buy a Lic plate holder as well. The US tail light has a lic plate holder.

Id personally prefer to stock tail light, but on my Rally I have had the thought changing to a euro tail light. How that for being contradictory.

Oh yeah, to me, both tail lights look the same.

They are silimar but not exactly the same
I had my european P (1978) next to a stella yesterday and was looking at the difference, mine imported from Italy has the motorsports style, the stella has the scooterworks version (US) and is a little flatter, hard to tell from the angle of the pictures. But very apparent when I was checking it out yesterday in person. Just depends on what you want, I guess or how much you want to spend......
Yea Manny's right about the license plate mount on the scooterworks on and none on the motorsports model.

My P is a Euro one and already has a Euro style taillight. The red lens is broken off.

I thought there was a difference between the two as well. The motorsport one looks more angular. And I agree, the Stella one looks different too.
