Rick Clemson, a local photographer who takes pictures of bikers who ride up Palomar Mountain each weekend snapped this pic of Matt Gordon and I last weekend. We were pre-riding the route for Cafe Moto's High Peak ride coming up.

Awesome photo, good enough to be in an advertisement, for sure!
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of jackets are you guys wearing?

They're Corazzo 5.0 jackets. The reflective material is extremely bright when the light hits.

Yeah, but Randy...you don't let weather get in the way of long fantastic rides! You've racked up more miles on your GTS than just about anyone I know.

Wish you were down here to join us!

The closest I'll be to some really good Southern Calif weather will be in Long Beach at The International Motorcycle Show, this Dec. for Gerbings.

Ossessionato, can you send me some info on the upcoming ride you
mentioned? I haven't joined any riding clubs yet but enjoy riding in
the mountains. I've ridden Angeles Crest Hwy 39 six times since I
bought my MP3 500 two months ago.

Thanks Ossessionato. I would love to make that ride but I'll be
in Tucson, Az that particular weekend.
However, I will keep an eye on your clubs' future runs.

Who is ever riding the blue Mp3 needs to do a rear tire press check from the looks of it in the pic

Heh, I had just checked it less than two hours before that moment. It was fine.

Thanks though!

len,

A little off topic.
Is your jacket green? I was looking at the Corazzo site and they do not show or mention it in green.
It would go great with my scooter though.

Is it also warm enough for mild winter riding?

Yep, it's green, and I've worn that jacket in cool weather, and in hot weather (over 100 degrees.) In the warm weather, as long as the air is circulating, it's fine. In the cooler weather, if you layer underneath and zip the vents closed, it is comfortable as well.

I was checking out the rear tire for the air pressure but insdead I noticed this, the rear tire tilt don't seems to be the same as the two front tires! The front of the rear tire seems to be pointing more to the right that the two front tires. Is it true or is just me? Cheers!

The front, left fork link is in the way of the view of the rear tire and makes it look like that. It's an optical illusion of sorts. I have the full-rez. file and it's very clear when you see it in it's full glory.

This isn't the Zapruder film, it's all good. That rear tire followed the rest of the bike around ALL DAY long!
