thats what I was thinking. I need all the extras forsure.

So it is done, GTS 250, I want the small windshield added and i want to get a sticker set for the vespa. I was thinking on the thin stripe and thick stripe together if you know what I mean down the front of the scooter.

Man I cant wait, I tried dropping the bomb on the wife again and it did not go very well at all. She says wait, but if I buy before the end of the year, I may get the pdi and frieght included.

I live in Hamilton, very close. I just cant squeeze it out this year, i must wait until spring. That was the deal with my wife.

Once I get my scooter, I will hook up with all the folks in Toronto for some rides.

Cant wait

Bosco, beg borrow and steal, you won't find a better deal on a GTV. That scooter is $9000 MSRP, and that would be without the topcase. You also save on PDI and freight.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, I would have loved to have gone for a ride. Who knows, she may cave in by Christmas, we will have to see. I am going to apply some pressure this week and see if she bites.

Try flowers and then make her dinner, a nice bottle of wine and clean the house this weekend. What the heck, clean my house too.

When she realizes it's a scooter and not another woman she'll be relieved and cave in.

Just curious, can the Super's instrument panel be switched out with the GTS's? It seems like it could.Aside from buying a new panel, maybe 2 members could trade.

I would be surprised if we did not see another GTS with the digital instrument panel.

For what its worth you would save over $1500 if you bought that GTV. Plus its downright beautiful in that color.

Motorcycle and scooter prices are higher in the spring.

If you do buy a GTS you can always add a Polini variator for $300 and be just as fast as a 300 Super.

I love my GTS and yes I would buy a 300 if I could. But the rear rack is nice and so is the top case for groceries. You can always buy these if you want them on the Super.

Good luck Bosco!

well I buttered the wife up all day, and she has agreed to let me put a deposit down on one in December when I get my overtime payout.

So if all goes well, I will put the deposit down and then pick it up later March, early April.

Im in the zone, I can feel it.

"I have a front AND rear rack on my LX. I have never used the rear rack but I do use the front rack often.
On the GTS my rear rack is used for my topcase."

What do you use your front rack for? Hate to sound silly. I am considering purchasing a full chrome package, which includes the front rack. Does it stay in the 'down' positon by itself or does it need weight to hold it down? I would think what ever was up front would be blown around quite a bit?
Thanks for any advise.

I remember that this spring (March?) the GTS was selling for $1,100 less than list from the Toronto Dealerships. I have no idea if that will happen again next year, but you might score big by waiting longer. Good luck!
