I'd love to see the mods add a new section: WRENCHING/TUNING for those technical discussions that don't really belong in the general discussion. Questions about how to remove my tire, or replace rollers, etc could go here.

how about a new ssection for new posters for new question they might have on the new scooter they just bought, what kind of new gear should they buy. But when does the new become old?

This very idea was posed a week or two ago. It was voted down. Many felt that the repeats of the newbie questions keep things fresh around here so we don't have to resort to sexuality discussions I'm pretty new still myself, but I'd say I agree so far, kinda keeps the general discussion grounded

Check out the Technical Library for how-tos that others have done. The Project Reports often contain information on mods that others have done.

Questions about how to do a mod are still best directed towards the General Discussion, where they will attract the most attention.
