I've had a poor quality boot of the Shea Show (purportedly) for years. Too young to make a Clash show though both my brothers went in 1981, Houston. Grrr. I did get to see the Mescalero's twice though. Amazing shows both.

It's got every song you'd wanna hear, the sound is fantastic, the band is on, and the energy is palpable. I was too young to see them and didn't get a chance to see the Mescaleros, but this album is a great consolation prize.

After a couple listens I agree it's a great concert, albeit their is a good amount of "post production" in way of guitar overdubs and vocal overdubs compared to my bootleg of the same show. Still, essential listening for any Clash fan. The Mag 7/Armageddon Time medley, and Police on My Back are both smokin'!
