Hello again everyone, it's been awhile...

The topic says it all. The GT is smelling real badly of gas every time I am running it. I haven't overfilled recently, and there is no leak to be found. Runs fine and starts up as usual, but makes the garage smell awful. Any advice would be great.

Thanks!

check your fuel lines for cracks... *shrug*

I've picked up two that had cracks in them... pretty bad ones. Not really noticeable until you bend them a little bit. If it's still wrapped in that cover with another hose it will likely only be on the ends by the fuel filter and the carb.

Also check the hose on the other end of the filter.

the same thing that happened to ratboy happened to me. the mechanic squeezed the line and gas came squirting out. i replaced the one line, still had the smell, then found cracks in the other. that's probably it.
