I have a new Lx150 and when its up on the centerstand and the motor is running, the rear wheel spins. Is this normal? I would expect it to turn a little and with barely any torque. But mine spins pretty good and there is definity some power behind the wheel. It has been to the dealer twice for fast idle / hard start issues that have not been resolved yet. It is going back yet again tomorrow. Thanks for any info.

It shouldn't spin too much, just a few RPM's. Make sure your throttle isn't sticking. This happened to us a few times, then I noticed that it would only occur when I was squeezing the front brake then hitting the starter. If I did it this way I was inadvertently applying some throttle.

I switched to holding the rear brake and it stopped happening. Make sense?
