[b]I love my Fuoco in Demon Black, but I do like to customise.
so it off with the pannels, & spray time, Black Rainbow Pearl flipflop metalflake laquor over the top of its matt black. I can't wait to get it back together. 8) External inline image provided by member with no explanatory textExternal inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

Pannel removein
Dont know if anyone else has found gettin the pannels of a fiddly procedure, I had quite a job getting all the pannels off, I found quite a few screws had all ready worked loose, some even missing, & that last bit where you have to slide the pannel to get it off, a nightmare, I can see a few folks breaking those.

Very interesting. Can't wait to see the final. Do you have any larger pics? These are hard to see, even on the link.

Will this end your Batman theme?

BTW, I use to work in Nottingham, for a bit. Lovely place. Ever heard of Games Workshop?(Near the White Castle Pub)

No I've kept the Batman graphics on the front, not sure if I'll put them back on the sides yet, as its Metal Flake Black, its sort of a Granite colour when no light hits it, so it still has the sinister look.
I hope to get some better pics at the weekend, & even get it back together, light permitting, better pics will follow, just quick snaps up to yet.
Games Workshop, know it well, I used to collect the figurines, my brother still does.
I even went to the Games workshop open days for a couple of years running, way back when it was at Eastwood.
I applied for a job at the new factory this year, on security, sadly didn't get an interview though. Small world.

Cool. Can't wait to see the different pics. My next big plan(which will likely happen in Spring as it warms up) is to paint my 500 to match the black glossy front center plate so that the WHOLE bike is glossy black. Then I'm adding white skulls airbrushed on so they're kinda 'ghost like' and then I'm putting on whitewalls on all 3 wheels. Should be an interesting black/white scheme...

Yeah, I worked for GW for nearly 10 years and got to travel all over the world meeting folks. Hence, my handle Luthorhuss(Warrior Priest of Sigmar!). I really had a good time and had it not been for going back to school, I'd still be with them. Lots of great memories and friends still over the pond. Some day I'll have to tell you about my first trip to Nottingham castle(accidentally went on National Gay day being celebrated within the yards there...DOH!). Made for a real interesting day for my friend Ed and I.

Cheers,
Luthorhuss

They still do that event. its moved to the Arberitam now, a strange world.
Latest pic of the pannels just had a final 4 coats of clear laquor, sliding the pannels in with all the extra paint is going to be fun, final polish tomorrow, & hopefully by Sunday it will be back together.

panel removal
tootsnpurple:

Since you have recently removed all you panels can you give me a heads up on how the front side panels slide out of the tabs? Forward or to the rear? I managed the back panels OK when I ran some wire back there but when I wanted to mount a new horn up front I couldn't budge the side panels and didn't want to break something by moving them the wrong way. I chose an alternate location right up front instead. But I also want to paint all the panels and will have to get them off eventually. Any tips would really be appreciated.

Hi
you take them the same as the back ones, but make sure you have all the screws out, theres one at the front, bottom behind the pannel, you don't see untill the front pannel is off.
Bit of a Chinese puzzle for sure, crap quality fittings, but it works.

That is very nice indeed Toots, I love all the paint jobs I see on here, reflects all the owners personalities, but that is very special....
If only I didn't live in a third world country, I just can't get my hands on stuff like that, or the artisans to execute it...sigh....
