Modern Vespa

My wife and I brought our MP3's to Okinawa with us when we moved and now we need a "brake certification" in order to register them. Does anyone hav a good point of contact with the company from where they think one of these might be procured? I appreciate the help!

Ooooh.. That's a tough one. Never thought something like that would be a problem but I guess in Japan, you have to do as the Japanese do.

check with the vespa/piaggio dealers over there they should be able to assist. For you to get ahold of piaggiousa or anyone for that matter is a real PIA. you might also ask some of the local scooter clubs to see if hey could help in some way.

I know the asian link from the piaggio website is bad, it has been for a long time (at least since early spring), and I tried emailing the one Japanese dealer I could find through Vespas website a month ago, but they are up n the mainland and I am not sure if the translation software was no good or what but have not heard back, so I was just hoping that somone on this board had maybe had some interaction with piaggio lately. It seemed like a while back that 88 must have had them on speed dial! Ahh well- if anyone runs across those numbers, I would apreciate the link. thanks- sean
