My wife and I brought our MP3's to Okinawa with us when we moved and now we need a "brake certification" in order to register them. Does anyone hav a good point of contact with the company from where they think one of these might be procured? I appreciate the help!

Ooooh.. That's a tough one. Never thought something like that would be a problem but I guess in Japan, you have to do as the Japanese do.

check with the vespa/piaggio dealers over there they should be able to assist. For you to get ahold of piaggiousa or anyone for that matter is a real PIA. you might also ask some of the local scooter clubs to see if hey could help in some way.

this is the website to the japanese piaggio site (english) but the page isn't displaying properly for some reason. anyway, when it's fixed you can look for your distributor by clicking on the DISTRIBUTOR link on left of the page.

I know the asian link from the piaggio website is bad, it has been for a long time (at least since early spring), and I tried emailing the one Japanese dealer I could find through Vespas website a month ago, but they are up n the mainland and I am not sure if the translation software was no good or what but have not heard back, so I was just hoping that somone on this board had maybe had some interaction with piaggio lately. It seemed like a while back that 88 must have had them on speed dial! Laughing emoticon Ahh well- if anyone runs across those numbers, I would apreciate the link. thanks- sean
