i made a bracket to mount a stebel nautilus with the existing mounting nut. but i need to move the voltage regulator.

can i put it anywhere? does the ground need to be attached to it?

any other advice would be much appreciated as i am going at this using only my findings on this forum

I'm not familiar with the ET4, but generally speaking, you ought to be able to put it anywhere. But it will have to have a good solid ground.

all done... came out nice. didnt even have to move the voltage regulator or the CDI module AND i mounted the horn relay on the back of the headlamp relay. the horn itself i tied down to the center of the bike with a vacuum connector i bought from the hardware store.

i have to say, for someone with ZERO experience working on bikes and ZERO knowledge of electronics, i was able to do this without a hitch with the help of this forum.

next on the list are some spotlights (see my post to answer my lighting questions if you want) and a permanent plug for my battery tender.
