Modern Vespa

Thanks to everyone with posting to my "MP3 500..Is it worth it" thread. I have one more question about the Piaggio Extended Warranty. I have read the threads about the extended warranty...but they still have not helped me decide on getting the extended warranty....My dealership is charging $600 for the 2 year MP3 500 extended warranty. This is an actual Piaggio warranty. Is it worth getting the warranty??...It gives a good peace of mind I suppose...But will the extended warranty cover most repairs...like bumper to bumper with cars?

It would seem most repairs could be done by me...unless it deals with electrical and some mechanical...

My dealer is still telling me "Piaggio is impossible to deal with." They like their product, but corporate has yet to give them the cost for a 2009 400.

I contacted Piaggio some time ago and they said they would speak to my dealer. They did, and told them "they were still calcualting the cost for an extended warranty.
