Modern Vespa

I plan on visiting London late December / early January. What's the weather been like around Dec/Jan over there? Cold, I know. I've never been to London or any European countries. Do I need a tourist visa or something? (I have a U.S. Passport.) Thanks.

you won't need a tourist visa but you may want to invest in a wetsuit, thermal underpipings, and some good books to keep you occupied during all the time you thought you'd be spending on the scooter.

yeah yeah, it's cold and wet and all that, but you get the occasional brisk clear sky days where it's just cold, but it's a nice ride?
it's not all doom and gloom... and scootering will still be miles better than the tube or the bus!!
