29 years old. Turning the big three o next year......

67 be 68 feb 2012, Weather has been in the 70s every few days, went for a 100 mile ride a few days ago. Felt great for the last of Nov. tomorrow is sopposed to be 70. Plan on ridding a little after changing the oil in Sandys car and my truck. Do it myself.

I'm 75 & just did 200mi round trip today but there's a guy here in Jersey has us all beat. He just switched from a Honda pacific Coast last Yr. to a trike. Leo is 95, Takes the oldest rider award at Americade. Last wk. He rode the Polar Bear event to warwick, NY & the previous Wk. rode the PB event of over 400 Mi round trip to Lewes Del.

Maybe it's a generational thing Sano, 'cause I'm 6 months older than you and I do all our 10 oil/filter changes at home too.

I'm 56, turn 57 next February.

Reading this makes me feel positively young! Now that's a feeling worth having! Have been riding nearly a year, bought Marco last December and starting on that interesting path - Do I want to augment the stable? Would like something with a little more 'go up and go' for open road work. MP3-250 fine for commuting - easily copes with motorway traffic where speeds are usually up to 110km/h [Speed limit is 100km/h. but police have a 10% grace except over holiday weekends when it's 5%.] Wondering about a 400 Burgman or the new Honda Integra 700. That really appeals, like the technology of the transmission.

Looking forward to lots more riding as we head into summer. Been out today, fine and dry but very windy and gusty - bit of fun on the Harbour Bridge [google for images] - need all of the lane! at 80km/h and strong gusting cross winds. Even the electronic signs were warning the cagers and high-sided vehicles that it was gusty!

If you want more thrills, hit those gusty winds on 2 wheels instead of 3.

I have both 250 & 400 MP3s. I got the 400 for long distance rides. It has enough oompf for whatever situation I get into and it's extra 95# of weight makes it more stable during gusty winds. And I'm getting 60 mph with it !

There are a number of MP3s for sale - both 250 and 400 - on TradeMe [our eBay] so could consider one of them. However, like to idea of a traditional two-wheeler. Something to ponder upon...
