Someone posted this before but I would also like to do a comparison if allowed. My MP3 250 goes at 55mph(90KMH) while the rpm is at 6000 and 62MPH(100KMH) whlie the rpm is at 7000. Any variations out there? Cheers!

Is it on flat surface or uphill?

For me on a flat motorway i think im about +5->10 km from your figures.
95-100 kmh at 600 and 110 kmh at 700 rpm.

+130 kmh at ~800 rpm and there where still some more speed to pull from the bike. (MP3 250)

It was on flat. Too bad after changing the two front tires, I couldn't go beyond 110kmh. At 115kmh my bike would be 'shaking like a leaf on a tree'. Guess it was bcos' I didn't do any balancing to the new tires. Cheers!

Due to CVT gearbox its almost impossible to have consistent RPM/Speed readouts. Unlike normal manual transmission, the CVT does not 'lockup' on any gear as it has infinite gear ratios.

There are too many variables such as slope, surface smoothness, drag, wind factor, tyre pressure, rider weight as well as the mechanical condition of the machine. Combination of the above factors will also affect RPM/Speed readouts.

Laughing emoticon Laughing emoticon Laughing emoticon You are right! I found my bike performing better in the morning when the engine and the surronding in cool. But when the engine is hot after riding a substancial distance it tends to have a bit less power. Cheers!
