The sticker said that you should just use water. Really, isn't there anything with a little more umph that's safe to use?

I've use Novus on an old boat windshield and it worked great. They have polishes for removing surface scratches and a spray on cleaner.

I just use plexus on my stuff - cleans the whole scoot

you can use white vinegar or a citrus cleaner.

Another vote for Plexus. You can buy some at a Honda motorcycle dealer.

Plexus is a spray; so you can get it all over the wrong places IMO... I like Novus. It goes on with a soft rag, and will clean and remove fine scratches from a windscreen or a helmet face shield like nothing else I've ever seen! 8)

prior to cleaning the bugs I wet a couple of clean cotton cloths with really hot water then just lay them over the screen to kind of pre treat the screen for about 5 min. then I use the poduct like the bottle says . that way your not rubbing the bugs back in the screen and the soften up enough to come off easily
