I bought this P200E with this King & Queen seat on it. I know it may look a little funny but it is much more comfy than my other stock P200E.
I'm 6'3" 225lbs and have to sit far back on the stock seat past the bar under the cover. Ride is a bit rough and you bottom out over bumps.
With the King/Queen seat I sit a little high almost on the ridge and the ride is really more comfortable and it doesn't feel like I'm right up against the leg sheild which makes the rear brake akward to operate.
It also feels like I can control this scooter much more than the stock. I want to take my test at the DMV but it has a polini exaust and I don't know if they will accept it with this exauhst modification.

Re: Giullari King & Queen seat
It'll be fine. Vintage 2-strokes don't have a CARB certificate to maintain, so the exhaust won't be an issue. Plus, do you really expect Mr./Ms. DMV Examiner to know the difference between stock and aftermarket Vespa exhausts? As long as your registration, insurance, mirror, and signals are all present, functional, and current, take the test!

It was an accessory of the day, and when i see early 80's bikes with early 80's accessories, it makes me happy.

DMV
Hey SteveinSac-
That is a nice looking P!
I just registered my Rally at DMV yesterday. I had to have it inspected. The inspector had to be able to read the engine number. It was greasy and obscured, fortunately she had some degreaser and a rag and I could clean it off. Just a heads up to make sure your engine number is legible.
The DMV on Broadway near Stockton Boulevard is huge and crowded, but I've always been treated very well there.

Thanks. I wish I could say the same about the Broadway DMV. The black P came from Seatle and when we took it to have it registered the inspector was a complete idiot. She didn't know where the motor was. I even pointed out the numbers. After sending out a group of DMV employees they made me take it to the CHP for inspection which I had to make an appointment, transport the scoot a whole month later, go back to the DMV... Even the CHP became a total B.S. process. There was a time when you could walk up to any officer and they would inspect your vehicle give you a sticker and you were on your way. The other P went better last month even though it took two people to inspect it. No wonder this state is broke.

I have a King and Queen as well. Love it... except for the color. I've been looking high and low for a cover made for K&Q seats... nothing. Anyone have any recommendations?

I love the king & queen seat on my P. I got it from SIP a couple of years ago, it looks like a copy of the Giuliari king & queen, made by a company unfortunately called "SPAAM", which I think is from Lithuania if I'm not mistaken. In any event, it's very comfortable and it did a great job of supporting my butt in the 2006 Cannonball. I'd love to find an original Giuliari king & queen to compare the two someday, but they seem to be pretty rare. I also have an original DASMI king & queen, which I like a lot too, except for the hole in the middle of the seat pan that lets the foam squish through, which affects the support.

Well... I came across an original two tone Super Corsa from the 80s in NOS condition. Needless to say the King and Queen is up for sale. PM me if anyone is interested or call me at the shop.
