Good people,
My Vespa is in for repairs for the next n+2 weeks ( where n is any positive integer including zero). I have tried sitting on a vacuum cleaner and facing into a fan while holding on to a broomstick, but its just not same...

I tried going for a ride on an old BMW in Battlefield 1942, but I was blown up by a Panzer.

What can compare with the feeling of going for a ride around a twisty mountain road on a scooter?

Jeez... at least play Battlefield: Vietnam, where you can ride 2-up on an actual vespa. (it wasn't as popular as BF:1942, though )

Grand Theft Auto 4 has some pretty awesome scooter-specific levels. Nothing quite captures the feeling of chasing after a guy through central park on a scooter, while you ride some other scooter ....firing your uzi at him and occasionally hitting the passerby with a stray bullet or knocking them over.

Probably the best and cheapest way is to drag the sofa into the middle of the road, straddle the arm of said sofa going brum brum whilst leaning both left and right. If you get the hang of this and feel confident you can lean further and further each time.

Enjoy!!!!!

With an automatic scooter, you could potentially have one hand free at all times. But with my shifter, it would be near impossible. My wife would need to be riding cupcake.

Wait, did you say stimulate?

Find a tall hill.
Get a gas powered push lawn mower and a broom handle
Go to the top of the hill and start the mower...
Grab broom handle with both hands...
Sit on the engine of mower and push yourself off down the hill...
Put your feet on the mower deck and use the broom handle to try and avoid the tree coming at you..
ATTGATT optional...

Try one of these.
And remember, dress for the fall, not the ride. Toreador Pants!

We used to make these by attaching bubble-gum cards to our bike forks with wooden clothespins! Only cost 5-cents for the cards, and you got very dry and nasty-tasting gum along with it.

Ride one of those kid rides that are at the entrance of Walmart/Kmart etc... Laughing emoticon Better yet... find a nice swingset at a park.... at least you'll get a good breeze in your face.

Hope your scoot gets fixed soon!

apparently , all you need to do is go "make out" with someone of the same sex. It's just like riding a vespa.

Put two bricks in a 5 gallon bucket and hang it on the right side of your bicycle to experience the thrill of riding a vintage Vespa.

(Mine doesn't have a spare or battery and that's exactly what it feels like and I love it)

Simulating riding a Vespa is about the same as simulating sex. Not even close.
