I recently had new Michelin Pilot City tires installed on my GTS. Don't know if this is the reason for the problem but the front end now wobbles really bad at anything above 20 mph. Although there was some front end wobble prior to the new tires the situation is really bad now. Anyone have any ideas on possible causes and solutions? Any help is appreciated.

Yes there is a lot of debate about the cause of the front end wobble. Tire pattern does seem to matter, presence or absence of a topcase does as well as presence or absence of a windscreen. Have a look at the suggested link and I think you'll find some interesting reading.

He's a newbie. Go easy, we all have to start somewhere and searching is sometimes difficult.

I think it is helpful sometimes to revisit old threads.

Make sure your tyre pressure is correct or slighly higher than recommended, and also that your wheels (yes both) are correctly balanced, which is easier said than done.

My GTS 300 has no wobble, my 250 had it bad!

Not that I disagree with it but my wife's GT had a wobble that got worse over time. the front tire had over 9 weights on it. I took it to the shop.

At the shop we removed the weights, and rode. improved riding but still a weird "push" while turning left.
The Tech checked the headset bearing and the nut (under headlight area) was really loose= dangerous. Tightened nut and lined the handlebars back, BINGO! problem was solved. Get your local shop tp check the headset tightness.
