ok well it not real carbon fiber but it is close... dont think vespa will be making carbon fiber parts for their bikes anytime soon....

i didn't know the vinyl was going to have a metal in it so the whole heat wraping it did not work so good might have to redo it later...

but at least what you think?????

External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

as you can see i have some runs and bubbles that i was not able to get out and the horn vent was just impossible to do so i just left it red... unless i can figure out a way to do it.

Just needs a wing and a Japanese character decal on the cowling to make it really fast.

Next time when working with adhesive backed vinyl its best to use a soapy water spray on the surface to be stuck to and the sticker itself. This way when there are bubbles you can smooth them out of there with a small squeegee like the vinyl shops do it.

I am not so hot on the look though. The numbers look good but I was never hot on anything to fake looking, except boobs, which I have no problem with.

I think it's snazzy. If I did that to my red ET4 it would match the fake carbon fibre my Gilera Nexus came with

Vic - I like the CF on the center/foot part, but not so much the front. Your scooter is a beauty as it was! You just need to get the euro turn signal kit so the lines of your scooter are as they were intended to be - without the orb directional indicators.

Get it here!

Wtf is this? I never seen one of these before. Would look KILLEr on your scoot!

Damn vic - thats a great idea. Thats what I would want too. I like the bright white of the running lights.

but I'm not sure how that would work with two sets of lights? Would the white ones drown out the directional? I think there is a difference in wattage too between the two lights right?

i actually really like it. its different. its like being the one in a room full of people wearing black, white and red- but you've got a shot of pink going too. not everyone will like it. but many will admire you for it.

i like it a lot on the engine door, but not on the horn cover - feels like there's a bit too much going on at the front end of the scooter. less is more
