Hello, I was in New York last week and walking for your fantastic city I saw just 2 "real vespa" left on the streets and many ET4 and GTS, GTR and so on. All two vespa where without plate, but locked....

True, I've heard the same thing, sometimes people will steal your license plate when your scooter is parked.

I am glad that one of the only "real vespa's left" is an allstate...

Yeah, NYC beats the crap out of scooters, so anyone with a vintage anything does not just chain it to a parking sign and hope for the best.
Nobody would ride a collectors item around this city very much.

I was in NYC last week, too. I was surprised at how many modern Vespas I saw--tons-mostly GTS! But I didn't see one vintage in my travels in Manhattan and Queens. I saw one orange Stella in SoHo, and that was it. Surprising!
