This is my first autumn/winter with my scoot and having only recently discovered my beloved Corazzo 5.0, I don't really feel like shopping around for a heavier jacket for colder weathers. Had anyone on here combined the Corazzo underhoodie with the 5.0? What kind of temps can you be comfy in with this combo?

Off topic, but did you buy your Corazzo in the Boston area or order online? I'd love to try one on...
Also, what are your thoughts? How warm is it? Did you get too hot this summer? |

i layer my 5.0 with a very thin quilted down jacket and it's toasty down to about 40F - mind you i have severe problems dealing with cold temperatures and i've no doubt that a more warm-blooded person would find the same combination comfortable down to near freezing. add a fleece neck warmer and that bumps up the warmness factor even more.

I've been wearing my 5.0 (which I love) with a thin North Face fleece shirt under it lately. The temps in the morning have been between 30-40 degrees and i've been mostly warm enough.
The only thing that I need to change is to get some gloves that extend OVER my sleeves. My hands stay fairly warm but wind does get up my sleeves and that does undermind the warmth I get from the 5.0 and fleece. |

Wangta, I took a trip to Javaspeed down Providence to try on the 5.0. I went during the summer and they didn't have much in stock, but I was able to confirm that I needed an XS. Then I ordered from Corazzo direct. I imagine Javaspeed has a better selection now that it's cooler though, and they might have exactly what you need.
I'm cold blooded and enjoy a good bake in the sun, so for me, the jacket worked fine throughout the summer. From what I've read on here, most 5.0 wearers are okay during the summer if they keep moving; stop and go traffic can be too toasty though. Thanks for the input guys, keep it coming. |

Corazzo Underhoody
I LOVE my Corazzo Underhoody!!!!!
Bought it in Early September when Corazzo was at the SF Scooter Centre where I work. The fabric is thin, yummy feeling and nice and warm. I like the thumb holes so it doesn't bunch up when I put on my riding jacket. First week I had it I wore it while crossing the Bay Bridge to the East Bay on a chilly evening. I did not feel the wind at all! well except for on my legs cause I didn't have my scooterskirt with me. I give the Corazzo Underhoody a resounding 2 thumbs up! |

corazzo advice
i just got a corazzo 5.0. i also got a light quilted jacket to wear on the chilly days but now the 5.0 feels too small when i wear them both together. should i get a size up on the corazzo or get a lighter weight under layer?

thanks genie!
yeah, i bought a small without thinking about layering. now that i need to layer, a medium might be a better choice. i think i can still exchange it. |
