I have a 05 GT 200 with only 300miles on it. It has been setting for a while runs great but the fuel gauge does not work. I have checked and and getting voltage at the tank end where the wires go to it. What else should I check?

Maybe the float in the tank is stuck??? I know that my wife's GT doesn't read correctly. On a full tank it only reads about a smidge above 3/4 mark. Maybe I am wrong too.

When you say "doesn't work" what's the failure mode? Stuck at empty? Stuck at full? Somewhere in between?

300 isn't very many miles over 3 years - about two fiil-ups worth. Stuck float sounds kinda likely...(if only I knew for certain a float was used. )
