I have had trouble starting my 2006 LX150 for a couple years. Problem seems especially bad when weather is warm. I have had the needle valve replaced (fixed the problem for a few weeks) and then the problem returned.
My dealer/repair shop says he has seen this more recently and Piaggio will not admit that there is a problem. He says fuel is leaking into the cylinder when it is parked and thus the electric starter can't force it out so it won't start or is badly flooded. After pushing the kick starter a few times and rolling the scooter around a bit it will start once the gas is burned out. I have started to leave the fuel cap loose so as not to build up pressure in the fuel tank. This seems to help.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
thanks
