Modern Vespa

Would love to see them all in one place instead of fishing around.
I see no new topics, so I started these two.

Love the whites!!! They all look so elegant.

I am thinking on a GT200 or LX for myself, but when I went to dealer the owner "placed" me with an S type model. Looked at it, it looked fine for me; looked the other way at the GTs they looked BIG!!! I don't know why, I am 5'6" tall and 173 lbs.

The S is a very capable ride. I go pretty much everywhere on mine and that's why I put the seat pad, windscreen, and topbox on. The day I took that pic I rode over 90 miles. I bought it in July and have over 5200 miles on it now.

Beautiful in red. Looks somewhat smaller than white or it's the distance!

Hopefully we'll see some orange ones.
Initially I went in to buy the aprilia mojito (havana), but I liked the S's solid build much better.

So I would liek to know how tall are you and how much is your weight, and if the S fits you well...

Dang, the more and more I see the Vespa Ss, the more I like them. If I had unlimited amounts of money, i would buy one for sure.

I'd be torn between the white and red though. Heh, glad my bank account is such that I don't have to make that decision!

6' 185lbs inseam 34ish. And it fits great. Both feet touch ground but I rarely need both on ground.

Here's my red '09. Got it a week ago...punctured the tire last night. Shame, as I was going to go grocery shopping with it for the first time today. That, and it makes me a little bit sick to have to replace a week-old tire.
BTW, the lack of glovebox is fantastic. I've been able to fit a standard 16.9 oz bottle of water in the holder and a smoothie too (not at the same time).

Can you fit a full face helmet in the seat on these?

I can barely fit a 3/4 under there....

I use the helmet hook for my FF. Works great!

The guys at the Vespa service center called it "orange crush" (which i love) but i call it the Nimbus 2000 (b/c i'm a Harry Potter geek). unfortunately i haven't taken any pictures of it without me on it...but that's because i'm rarely NOT on it. I swapped the sport seat for the touring, which i kind of regret b/c the sport seat had orange stitching.

My 3/4, XL size with face shield and a pair of gloves fit fine under my seat. I doubt a ff of the same size would fit but it does have the hook. My helmet is a Nolan so there could be some difference between helmet manufacturers.

Today I went to the grocery and had a package of chicken and a package of porkchops under the seat. A gallon of milk, two packages of cheese, and a package of sliced ham in my top case. Between my feet on the round hook I had a bag with my cereal in it. Quite the functional little grocery getter...

as for the helmet. i have a Z1R ff helmet size S which barely fits in my under seat storage. i really need a top case.

I also like the lack of a glovebox. I can fit my wallet, cell phone, extra gloves...whatever in there in case i need them during my trip.

yea the orange is AMAZING. I went to the Vespa store already wanting a Vespa S, but when I saw it came in Orange I bought it that day. I do love the white ones though.

That is a yes. Fit a medium Shoei RF-1000 under seat no problem.

My wife is wanting the white with white piping on the seat. I like the rack on the S.

Yes. Some full face helmets will fit under the seat of 150's. Not modular full faces though
