Despite being the limited edition Zafferano from 2008 it had only done 450km as was literally 'as new' & only a 10 min drive from me. Almost too good to be true! |

Here is my 2012 S150 Titanium at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Only add on's so far are the black kickstand (which you cant see in this pic) and a black powdercoated top case rack with Titanium top case.

I've had my S around a month now and finally found a gap to go take some shots.
So here she is. Lucia. Gotta love the rear.
Of course, she has a Gremlin Bell looking out for her.

Hi,
I have a Vespa S, and when I bought it I made them put all the add-ons and carriers on it. Now I feel like changing some of them, maybe remove the front carrier... But there's a problem: what do I do with the 4 holes they had to drill on the front chasis to put the carrier? What could I use to cover them? Any ideas? |

I'm mostly working from memory here, so anyone who's done it more recently, or who knows where to find a good pictorial or video, please hop in and let me know if I missed anything: On the LXS bikes: 1. Remove the horn cover: a. Pry Vespa badge on horn cover (center panel of front apron) up with a flat-head screwdriver in the slot on its right side (as you face it). Use a rag or something under the screwdriver to protect the paint. b. Remove the screw that was under the badge. c. Remove the screw at the bottom of the horn grille. d. Remove horn cover 2. Remove the mirrors: a. Slide the rubber grommets at the base of the mirror stalks up. b. Use the correct size wrench to unscrew the mirror stem lock nuts. Note: you may end up unscrewing the mirror stem retainers in the process. If so, disassemble them from the mirror stems by loosening the lock nuts. c. Slide mirror stems out of the retainers. 3. Remove top of headset cover: a. Under headlight, remove the left-most (as you face the headlight) screw. Note: the other, "headless" screw is the headlight adjuster. Also note that you cannot access this screw until you remove the horn cover. b. Remove screws under left and right ends of headset cover (visible from behind/below the headset cover). c. Carefully disengage tabs at either end of headset cover (just inboard of the handgrips) that lock the top to the bottom. Very carefully. d. Carefully separate upper headset cover from lower headset cover. Be especially careful with the wires and speedometer cable. 4. Assembly is reverse of disassembly. Oh, and because this digression will not stand, man... my bike (from Los Angeles Scooter Tag, a month and a half ago): |

Hey people. I haven't posted for ever, so here's my scooter as of now. I got new white wall tires from Shinko this time. They have a hell of a lot more grip and class. Bitchin' ain't it?

Bitchin' ain't it? Some people said that Schwalbe is not that good in grip and handling, and quite slippery when facing wet road, and others said that Shinko is poor in quality. Wht about SAVA? any opinion? |
