I removed the parts. I think the trim would do okay as well. It's simple to peel off if things go wrong. As I said I'd like to do the headlight surround and gauge cluster but I'm a daily rider and can't see when I'll want to have the scoot idle for a few days to get it done.

Update on my s50
Removed the stickerbomb and have started on a black and white theme.
Basiclly all the chrome is going to be black. I have started with the chrome on the horncover, rearlight and kicklever. I am waiting for a black headlight frame and black (smaller) mirrors from SIP. |

Hi Guys,
I'm new to the board. I've just bought my first scooter, a black 2010 Vespa S 125. It's fair to say that I'm loving it. It has a couple of dings from where the previous owner dropped it, but I'm hoping I can sort those out without much problem. Also has broken glass in one of the mirrors. Does anyone know if you can just replace the glass (is it glued in?), or if you need to go for a complete new unit. I'll post a pic (from it's good side) when I get home tonight. It definitely needs a bit of love to bring it up to the standard of some of the great scoots posted in this thread, so I'll see if I can find a nice background shot here in sunny Bermuda |

New S150
New Vespa owner... 2009 S150 in black with 2000 miles.
Added the rear grab bar from the LX for $17 from a salvage shop. Bought for kicking around DC, and loving it so far. |

Thinkin' one of these might look nice somewhere up front cap. What's the artwork on the front rack? Nice looking scoot BTW.

Cheetohh, the bolt is being hidden by the legshield banner, it's there, though. I also have one on my helmet and riding jacket. The front is our scooter club's logo. Here's a better pic:

Proud new parent
Just snapped this shot of my scoot after installing the windshield (not the prettiest backdrop):
I'm thinking next up for accessories will be a rear folding rack, some rear crash bars, and potentially that snazzy headlight visor some of you have. I bought it used, and I'm not crazy about red, so I think down the line I may also get a unique design painted onto it. 8) I love all the cool paint jobs I've seen on here, especially that all yellow S! Makes me want an all green one. |

Markysparx,
I have not heard of Dot Cotton. Is that a laundry mat chain or something? fleece, Is there a thread for "Weird Scooter Location?" Here's an even better one... My beautiful professional ballerina girlfriend, my rat bike Vespa S50, my new burgundy Nathaniel Briggs seat, and I had a little fun at the laundry mat last weekend. |

Nothing against your GF Briggs, but your 1st pic was better, the bike almost has a 'look' on its face (bashful ?)
there wasn't a 'weird scooter location' thread, until now |

Haha, fair enough. The question is where should this thread be started... in scooter tag or photo gallery?
