Can't post a photo at the moment but the best mod I've done to my S is adding a vintage bag hook to the frame under the seat. Having two hooks allows me to carry a lot. I only put on the rear rack and full seat for road trips. Around town it's just that sexy sport seat with no grab rail and plenty of hook room for groceries etc.

here is a picture of my S125. I am totally in love with it. So far I added the little screen and new tires. Some more things will follow.. |

It's a quirk of the gas-tank/filler-neck design, and as far as I know it's unrelated to the evap. system -- at least, removing it does not help with gas spitting back out during refueling.
Hold the gas filler nozzle so the handle is lined up with the bike's centerline; either straight back (over the tail-light or rear rack) or straight forward (over the pet warmer). This usually (but not always) keeps splash-backs from happening. Filling from the side usually results in splash-back. |

Avoid this because after the capacity is full, the extra will simply get spilled on the floor through a bleeding line. This I think is a safety feature. What I do is pay by card to avoid the over flow problem or ask the attendant to stop as soon as the auto-shutoff happens in nozzle. |

Bringing the post back to the top with some new mirrors. See details under "project report" thread if interested.

Not the whole bike this time, but...
Taken earlier this evening.
Bike is a 2009 bought new, but spent the first few years stored in a distant city. Racked up most of the miles over the last couple of years. |

The Vespa is looking good but it needs a bit polish. Maybe the image looks grainy from here. I just like to have my bikes all sparkly and clean.

With decals to cover up everything. It doesn't even have the bolts to hold the license plate. It needs four bad ass chrome bolts. And that's just for starts.
