Kinda like that fast food commercial!

I love the 50. It's a bit slow, but I am pretty light, so I can hit 45mph. As long as I avoid freeways, I am golden!

I'm new here.

First time MV poster.

Here's a picture of my commute home tonight in Boulder, Colorado. Might be the first time I've ever stopped to take a pic of the view and definitely first with a bike in the background. It was all going well until 5 minutes later when I got a hornet inside my t-shirt and it stung me 3 times.

BTW I love modern vespa forum. This is my first scooter (I should have bought one 20 years ago) and I've learned loads already from other posters.

Very nice. Is that your 991 as well? I am looking to potentially add one to my stable soon as well.

Yes it is mine. I love that car. Funny thing is I get as much joy from my car as I do from the S140 or my white 946.

Yes, definitely. On my LX 50 I mounted a cleaned and modified S horncover to give her a more vintage look. If you will use a stock horncast you'll have to drill a hole into the legshield for the bottom screw, that holds the horncast's lower end in place.

Here's my red '09. Got it a week ago...punctured the tire last night. Shame, as I was going to go grocery shopping with it for the first time today. That, and it makes me a little bit sick to have to replace a week-old tire.
BTW, the lack of glovebox is fantastic. I've been able to fit a standard 16.9 oz bottle of water in the holder and a smoothie too (not at the same time).
Looks great! Sorry about the tire. Where did you get the topcase?

Two weeks ago today, some guy was driving South while I was driving North. He turned left in front of me, I couldn't stop in time, hit the car and have some lovely injuries. The injury stuff I being attended to. I got the property settlement, which is only about half of what it takes to buy a new Vespa. I love it how it's not my fault, I get hurt (sooooo painful), and I'm out of money to get a new Vespa. Something seems off about this. At least I'm not dead and have no broken bones. Going to get a new one as soon as I can--dragon red, Sprint 150.

I'm new here! Just recently bought a S150i.e. Curious to know if these crash bars affect your passenger's foot space? Planning to ride often with someone on the back but want some nice crash bars. Thanks!

Last month a guy turned left in front of me and he shouldn't have--not enough to time or space. I did my best to avoid him, but it was impossible. I felt I took the best approach and hit the side of the car pretty much with my left side to avoid a header. Didn't fly up too far, slammed the hood and bounced to the ground on the opposite side of the car. No broken bones, but a ton of muscle/ligament tears and sprains that are going to take time and therapy to heal (hopefully). I know it could have been a lot worse.

My baby was totaled and of course I only get replacement value, so it's not close to what I invested. Not long ago, among a ton of other things, I replaced all the lights with LED. Anyway... Say goodbye to my good friend.

A couple pics of just the front end...
