Modern Vespa

I found that windscreen at scooterworks.

It's a Cupini midsize windscreen made to fit over the rectangular light of the S model/

Doesn't anyone have a black one? Love black - S or GTS Super. Vespa did such a great job with this model.

The names have been changed to protect the "criminals"

This is my girl friends zafferano 125 and my zx6r. We like bright colours as you can see. lol

I do like the s in white and almost went for it at the time of ordering but orange looks so good in the sun it just had to be.

I added a previous post of my vespa s but have added some graphics and rear carrier so thought i would post it again. This is the piaggio rear rack, i love it.

Im now saving up for the side protection and front rack.

that rear rack is killer!! I'm shopping for one myself so I can add my new GIVI trunk. I'll post a pic whenever that happens.

Check out the GIVI rack. It's chrome and it looks original. I put one on my S and it looks great with or without the top case.

That's exactly the rack I was considering. I'm glad to hear it looks good on your S. Do you have the GIVI trunk to go with it? If so which one? How does the trunk look with the S?

Here's a couple of shots of the rack and box. I got the E370 ( I think) and its big enough for a full face helmet with a bit of room to spare.

Had a white S150 here....for 2 months....loved it, but it was dropped. So I bought a Nero S150 now. I will post pics soon.

Has anyone added crash bars or any other chrome accessories to theirs?

I really like the windscreen and rear rack you've got, I think I might have to do some add ons very similar

Definitely get the rack..Helps with carrying stuff around.
Save your $ for the windshield. No use other than the looks.

Few little bits and bobs planned for the winter, like a luggage rack, seat retrim, and generally just work it over a little bit

Had a white S150 for about 1-1 1/2 months before someone moved it and dropped it. Now, because of a clever dealership, I just brought home a new black S150. Really loved the white, however I thought it may be jinxed for me.

I got my Vespa S150 a few weeks ago
and so far I like it.
only minor complaint is that gas gauge tells fibs
but will tell dealer when I take it in for it's 600 mile check.

that is one of the things I do like about Vespa's
they still have somewhat the old school style to them.
I allways liked the Mod/Quadrophenia style scooters.

Hey gang - I'm a new member of MV, and this is my first forum post - Just wanted to say hi, and have been admiring all the other Vespa S's - I just got mine recently (the same day Michael Jackson died, in fact) and I love it (my S150, not the death...) - I have yet to take photos, as I'm adding accessories piece by piece - I think the next item will be the back rack (Especially after seeing how nice it looks on the other black S here; is that the Fyco or Piaggio rack? I don't want to have to remove my rear emblem for a rack, the Fyco one's description on Motorsport Scooters's site says you don't have to) - I'll take some photos here soon just to add to the collection for now - thanks folks!

The holes to mount the rack or the rack for a topcase are under the rear emblem. My dealer had to remove the emblem too and then glued it back on under the tail light. That's just one of those things that has to be done but the emblem can be attached elsewhere. I have even seen one that was attached to the top case.

So there's holes already there? You don't have to drill any? That has been my only reservation

Finally I got my scoot and permit, but it is not a Vespa. It's a Buddy! But I liked the "whities" here so much, and that is what I got.

Yep what's the red nob! We don't have that in the uk.

If and when I get proficient on this, I may upgrade to a Vespa 150. Or 250, who knows. SO far, I am struggling to control this one.

The red switch is the engine cut-off

so you dont switch off by the key ? or is it a safty feature

It is a mandatory safety switch so you can quickly shut off the engine in case of an emergency.

There's a team? I though we all just picked the best colour independently...
