It is? Drat. I happen to think it's a great color for this bike.

Fortunately I got mine while the getting was good. Last Tuesday, in fact.

I upgraded the helmet to a black HJC CL-33 later that afternoon.

Alright gang, I FINALLY took some time OFF the scoot to take some photos of it - I really regret not taking any when she was right off the showroom floor, when she had less than 2 miles on the odo - As of these photos, she's already due for her first 600 mile scheduled maintenance - I'm intending on adding accessories (chrome, windscreen, etc) piece by piece - In fact, my chrome rear rack should be arriving tomorrow - My first customization was purchasing and installing the "chrome" louvered engine door panel - I think it looks great against the black - Needless to say, I want more chrome (or chrome-looking, anyway) bits - Can't wait to install the rack!

Ding! You win! lol Yeah, it was the first time I ventured down there and scooted around - I used to ride my bicycle down there from my neighborhood frequently - Taking Fisher Rd from Abrams all the way down is a great little cruise - Glad I had my camera in my bucket

I've lurked around on DFWScooterist, but haven't signed up - About to now though 8)

Hi cdn, I bought my windscreen from scooterworks. (link below to their website) I hope they still have this one, it's a midsize, not too tall or short in my opinion. Here is a shot of my S150 with the screen on.

I know this thread is kinda old, but it is nice to see all of the Ss together! I've had mine for a couple of months, I changed the seat, added decals & a fly screen. I'm debating adding a rear rack - don't know which one I want yet. I don't want a front rack, she's too pretty to cover up! This is Esther, my S...

It's a Vespa fly screen - I got it from my local shop. I'm working on turning vintage Samsonite carry-on bags into saddle bags, I'll post more pics when I'm done!

Yay! They did the same for me - I definitely recommend the touring seat. Don't forget to swap the key tumbler (thingie?) before swapping the seats. It makes it a bit difficult to open with out it. Not that I know this from experience....

Grrr, I'm still waiting on my local shop to get their shipment from Italy in... I've got my rear rack that I picked up on Ebay just waiting for a grab rail to be attached to (since the S doesn't come with one, the rack is actually for LX models)

Hopefully this week or next... they're going to call me when they got them in... keeping fingers crossed...

That was the Dilligaf S.C. rally in Oklahoma City. Weren't many folks there, 25 at most so I decided to spring for $20 in raffle tickets. That NEVER happens and there's never a brand new scooter in the raffle, usually an actual moped with ape-hangers, or a chopped VBB without a title, and good luck getting it street legal.

You know Denver James? I think Ron bought $100 worth and gave 20 to Denver because he carted Ron and his scooter up there, but I won that scooter. Awesome! Anywho, that internet taco place is in the 600 block of S. Beacon, at Lindsley. GTSBerg saw a very small pic of that place that I posted in Facebook and wanted me to put it on the NBCDFW site (he's a program manager for Ch 5), but the cellphone pic was crappy, so I went back on my scooter with a real camera and took it for that.

I still have to get the paperwork for that scooter because I've had it for a little over a month and it's got an expired out of state puchaser's paper license plate (but I have a blank one to fill out that's good for another month).

So far I've got the $20 for raffle tickets in it, plus about $35 in fuel for a round-trip to OKC for gasoline in my little Nissan truck to go get it.

The Taco Internet place actually has another name, but it's here in Dallas on the corner of Lindsley and S. Beacon.
