Some times riding independent is nicer than dealing with club politics.

Id suggest, if you meet some cool Vespa owners in your neck of the woods, start your own. But go for Quality not Quantity.

Or see if theres a club somewhat close to you, and try riding with them.

Clubs give me the willies and they seem to always have some kinda drama going on There are 4 of us here (soon to be 5 ) that get together regularly and have lunch,rides and cookouts. We are even going to get together and do some maintenance on our scooters. Just some friends with vespas no club IMHO much better that way. No drama just fun and great people Just find some good people and have fun. No need for a club.

For the longest time it was just a few scooters around town, then when gas was $4.00 a gallon, Paul, the first guy interviewed on the video started leaving notes on every scooter he saw, then the paper picked up on scooter sales booming, then a few of us met to talk about getting a group to ride every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evenings, then the video happened by way of one of our local TV stations, and the rest as they say is history. We currently have around 25 active riders, so it has been fun and challenging at the same time. Just a thought if you want to start getting together with other scooter rides is leave note on scooters, it worked for our area, maybe it will do the same for you, and good luck.
