I have a 2009 400 I bought in July. It has none of the "new" 2009 features that appear on the 250. I wonder if they re stopping production on this model after 09?

I am happy with my 400-though part of me wishes I had the 500, but wonder if the value il drop should the model not be produced any longer.

Of course with gas prices dropping sales are slowing. MY dealer has a huge inventory. Of course with the economy the way it is, people may opt for a scooter over a car. Then again for the price of a 400 or 500 you can buy an inexpensive car.

No 250 in the US have any changes yet, and only one to come for sure is the 14" rear tire which the 400 already has.

What changes are you referring to?

The value dropped the minute you left the lot....motorcycles are the worst, especially italian ones. Unless you wait about 25 or 30 years!

The value is the enjoyment derived from it. They are not investments.

I don't think the 400 is discon, but if it is maybe that will make it MORE desirable? In 25 or 30 years perhaps.

PS-I have a 400 as well, and I love it! That makes it's value "high".

There's also a brake pedal, and the front grill has a new look. Add to that the turn signals.

Wasn't the brake pedal just for the wider wheel European model?
