Modern Vespa

I'll jump straight the happy ending of of a sad story:
I got a new graphite black GT200, which rides all smooth and buttery compared to my ET4. I named her after Mahalia Jackson, world's greatest gospel singer from New Orleans.

Accessories include: top case, & shorty flyscreen from Piaggio, sidestand, rear chrome cowl protectors (to protect her booty coming in and out of my backyard gate) and chrome wings from Vespa Motorsport, and the cream of the crop: my custom paisley seat from Pirate Uphostery. I thought the stock seat looked too much like skin tone, so I had this one made (paisley = a little bit French and a little bit country, yes?). I'm very happy all around.

On another subject, I've noticed you've been a MV member for over 2 yrs with only 39 posts. Guess you've been to busy riding Hopefully with that new Vespa we'll get to hear from you more.
I'm also going to Google/iTune Mahalia, I'd like to listen too some good ole Gospel music. 8)

Great name, story, and scooter! I also have a black GT200 but 2005 model. Love riding it. Now you have me thinking about a name for my ride...
