Could someone help me i noticed some oil on the floor under my scooter. So i had a look and noticed it was coming from the casing what covers the oil filter. Thanks Rhinos8572.
could be that the o-ring under the filter cover has died and gone away, or that you tightened the screws down too much the last time you changed your filter, and cracked the cover.
hmm. that sounds a bit lazy of them. every time i've changed the oil filter (which i do every 2000 miles or so) the o-ring has been cooked and in need of replacement - and that's been the case on both scooters.
your dealer - or another dealer, you might want to try a different shop than the one that said it didn't need replacing - should have them in stock or be able to order one for you.
