Hello i've just had my mirrors taken off by some idiot for a joke and now when i go to put them back on they screw in but when they tighten they are facing the wrong way and i cannot move them any more. Is there a specific technique to putting them on?

Many Thanks

i'm going by what's on the ETs, so your setup may differ slightly:

the left mirror is secured by a nut underneath the handlebar cover. position the mirror where you want it then tighten the nut. the right hand mirror has an adjustment nut at the bottom of the mirror stem. spin it up or down until the mirror is in the position you want.
